[Frage: Was kann ich tun, um die Installation von Windows 95 zu vereinfachen?]

Um eine problemlose Installation sicherzustellen, sollten Sie folgende Schritte
unternehmen:
- Überprüfen Sie Ihre Festplatte auf Viren, bevor Sie mit der Installation
beginnen.
- Führen Sie ScanDisk oder Chkdsk aus, bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen.
- Stellen Sie sicher, daß Sie wenigstens 100 bis 110 MB freien Speicherplatz auf
Ihrer Festplatte haben, bzw. 110 bis 120 MB, wenn Sie Ihre alten MS-DOS- und
Windows-Systemdateien sichern möchten, damit Sie die Installation von Windows
95 gegebenenfalls wieder rückgängig machen können.
- Wenn Probleme mit der Hardware oder der Software auftreten, beheben Sie
diese, bevor Sie mit der Installation von Windows 95 beginnen.
- Deaktivieren Sie Ihren Bildschirmschoner, und beenden Sie alle
Dienstprogramme.
- Sichern Sie die Dateien AUTOEXEC.BAT und CONFIG.SYS auf einer Diskette.
- Entfernen Sie alle unnötigen Programme aus den Dateien CONFIG.SYS und

2. Auf die Eingabeaufforderung C: hin geben Sie den Laufwerkbuchstaben
des CD-ROM-Laufwerks, gefolgt von einem Doppelpunkt (
sowie einen Backslash () und das Wort "setup" ein, zum Beispiel:

3. Drücken Sie die EINGABETASTE, und folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf Ihrem

4. Klicken auf "Weiter", um die Installation fortzusetzen, und folgen Sie

So installieren Sie Windows 95 aus Ihrer aktuellen Windows-Version:
